With all the Kpop fans cheering about cupcakKe’s suicide note on twitter, remember the common denominator isn’t kpop it’s anti blackness. They want to be racist and have found a socially acceptable means to do so by saying they are fans of kpop. Kpop doesn’t make people disgustingly racist, anti blackness does.

And before anyone goes “no one thinks kpop does this” I’ve seen, and even reblogged a few, posts that specifically attack kpop fans over the incident that frame the issue as if being a kpop fan makes you racist. People are calling out liking kpop and not misygonior as the reason why they are being disgusting to cupcakKe.

But how do you “accidentally” invade a country?

  • On 5 December 1985, rockets fired by the Swiss Army landed in Liechtenstein, causing a forest fire. Compensation was paid.
  • On 13 October 1992, following written orders, Swiss Army cadets unknowingly crossed the border and went to Triesenberg to set up an observation post. Swiss commanders had overlooked the fact that Triesenberg was not on Swiss territory. Switzerland apologized to Liechtenstein for the incident.
  • In March 2007, a company of 171 Swiss soldiers mistakenly entered Liechtenstein, after taking a wrong turn in the darkness. The troops returned to Swiss territory before they had travelled more than 2 km into the country. The Liechtenstein authorities did not discover the “invaders”, and were informed by the Swiss after the incident. The incident was disregarded by both sides. A Liechtenstein spokesman said “It’s not like they invaded with attack helicopters”

There’s a new meme in China, and it’s very wholesome. The challenge, called “four generations,” includes four generations of family members making an appearance, from youngest to oldest. A son would call his dad, who then calls his dad, who then calls his dad. And a daughter would call her mom, who calls her mom, who calls her mom. The results are super cute.

The videos are being shared on video app Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok, under the challenge name, “Four generations under one roof.”
